Going Back to Australia
We’re
back in Perth for the Christmas break.
Escaping the confusion and culture of India, to the
relatively well known and culturally unsurprising (for me at least) climate of
home, was never going to be an easy proposition.
Travelling with the children is always fraught, and this
time I had to manage without their mother – who usually handles disaster
management and clean-up. Mummy remains in Delhi until just before Christmas,
winning the bread.
There were a few mishaps, one expensive, another embarrassing
and one last minute attempt by our old friend the “Toxic” cloud, which managed
to keep our plane on the ground for a couple of hours, due to poor visibility.
Sorry, no pictures of the journey itself – one forgets to
record events, when one is experiencing them as a series of cardio and mental stress
tests.
There's a bear in there.....
Koala, actually, see if you can spot it.
